The Snail Race by Brandon Gibney

Gary is looking at his family’s photo album. He remembers the times when he went to the races to see his dad win. Sadly, his dad passed away three weeks ago. His dad also has never had the chance to beat his rival, Pierre Escargot, a French snail who is one of the best racers in the world. Gary hopes to fulfill his dad’s dreams by competing in the next race and to beat his dad’s rival.
